Teda International School

 

 

Teda International School (TIS) was established in 1995 by the governing body of the Tianjin Economic Development Area to provide world-class education for children residing in the Bin Hai / Teda region.

 

The school has been established by the Teda Government and is open to any foreigners residing in Teda.

Teda International School is located in the residential section of TEDA, ten minutes from Tanggu and fifty minutes from Tianjin. 

The TIS campus is comprised of six modern, climate-controlled buildings housing general classrooms; science labs; computer labs; library/media center; ESOL classrooms; a full-sized gymnasium and a large cafeteria. The campus grounds are a park-like setting that includes a playground, a football field, and a track.

TIS is a member of EARCOS and is accredited with WASC. We are also a member of the Association of Chinese and Mongolian International Schools (ACAMIS) and participate in intramural sports and cultural activities regularly through this organization.
